I went to Denver last week for work... and all I did was work. I didn't take photos, a shopping trip, or call any friends...am I in a funk?

- Picasso: The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web.
- Manolo Blahnik: About half my designs are controlled fantasy, 15 percent are total madness and the rest are bread-and-butter designs.

qualities and characteristics
When you think of the most successful people in the world, who do you think of? A person whom you hold in high regard....who inspires you? Why? What is it about them?
These questions have been rolling around in my brain since we had a networking presentation. I'm working on a list of qualities and characteristics of people that I want to work with...to mutually inspire and help each other acheive their dreams. Grateful? Authenic? Trustworth? Honest? Fearless?

the weather
I try to stay away from talking about the weather because I don't want to sound like my mother. :) But today was unsual. Yes, it's snow, I know it's not that unsual. I grew up with it, but living in the Willamette Valley, we really do not see snow. And to see so much of it in March... well I had to take some photos while shoveling the sidewalk.

Happy New Year.
First Tuesday of the new year. wow. it’s so surreal.
How was your new years? Mine started with a kiss from the one I love. The weekend was filled with football and simple indulgences, baking, crafting and spending time with my boys! It’s simple but it makes me happy.
